Well, I beat three games on the aforementioned list.
Uncharted (PS3): Beautifully-crafted game that has enraptured me with the action/adventure genre all over again and helped me out of this RPG hole I dug myself. Now I feel more open-minded about what games I want to play.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (NDS): The best of the Mario & Luigi RPG series that I've played so far. Oozes all kinds of charm and at times can be laugh-out-loud funny. Top-notch localization and stellar gameplay.
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (NDS): I've now become a fan of these point-and-click adventure puzzle games. Very open to try other series that are out there.
....
I ended up buying 12 new ones. Damn you Amazon.com and your awesome deals!!
Bioshock (PS3)
The Last Remnant (360)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (360)
Rhythm Heaven (NDS)
Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer (NDS)
Tales of Vesperia (360)
Sonic Unleashed (360)
Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts (360)
Prince of Persia (PS3)
Mirror's Edge (PS3)
Dead Space (PS3)
All for approximately... $170.00! All brand new. Not bad, I must say. :)
Oh and then I bought New Super Mario Bros. Wii full-price at Best Buy since Mario games tend to never get cheaper. That was $50, which the thought of buying at such a high price makes me cringe. Guess I'm a full-fledged Cheap Ass Gamer.
3 steps forward, 12 steps back!!
In related news, I set up my own Backloggery account! It keeps track of all the games I own and their status in terms of what's been beaten and what has yet to be completed. It's cute, check it out.
