You fail, McDonald's.

I'm simply flabbergasted at my most recent McDonald's purchase. I went to get my favorite breakfast meal, the ultimate Sausage and Egg McMuffin. The sandwich alone costs $1.00, while the breakfast meal costs $3.98. Okay, that's weird. So the hash brown and OJ together costs around $3.00? Well, whatever, I'm hungry, so I ignored my skepticism and ordered. The total came out to $5.04.

Um, what? First of all, why is there more than $1.00 worth of tax. That doesn't sound like 7.5% sales tax. Second of all, this should have been at most $4.00 tax included. Seriously. If the sandwich itself costs $1.00, that would mean the the hash brown costs more than the sandwich. Tell me how this makes sense, McDonald's. If I recall correctly, meat costs more than potatoes! Especially something with meat, eggs, and cheese! Compared to a deep-fried slab of potato, therein lies the apparent flaw. McDonald's, you need to get your shit together. Hash browns and OJ should cost less than the sandwich.

Am I the only one that feels this way?!

What up Google?!

After lurking around in other people's blogs, I've made the conscious decision to create another (my third) blog in this community. I've been posting in my Livejournal for a long time, and before that I used to post in a Xanga. For some reason, I associate the two weblog communities with school-related stuff. Now that I'm so over school, it felt like an appropriate change of pace to blog elsewhere and I ended up here.

I love this template, by the way. I have the exact same wallpaper on the front-side of my bedroom. Look forward to more substantial updates and entries for I'll be using this as a means to eliminate boredom time at work.
