You fail, McDonald's.

I'm simply flabbergasted at my most recent McDonald's purchase. I went to get my favorite breakfast meal, the ultimate Sausage and Egg McMuffin. The sandwich alone costs $1.00, while the breakfast meal costs $3.98. Okay, that's weird. So the hash brown and OJ together costs around $3.00? Well, whatever, I'm hungry, so I ignored my skepticism and ordered. The total came out to $5.04.

Um, what? First of all, why is there more than $1.00 worth of tax. That doesn't sound like 7.5% sales tax. Second of all, this should have been at most $4.00 tax included. Seriously. If the sandwich itself costs $1.00, that would mean the the hash brown costs more than the sandwich. Tell me how this makes sense, McDonald's. If I recall correctly, meat costs more than potatoes! Especially something with meat, eggs, and cheese! Compared to a deep-fried slab of potato, therein lies the apparent flaw. McDonald's, you need to get your shit together. Hash browns and OJ should cost less than the sandwich.

Am I the only one that feels this way?!
